Balancing CoinHub's Growth and Academic Pursuits
Despite my deep love for the coin-collecting community, I felt a profound calling within me—a divine nudge from God—guiding me to pursue my studies at Pensacola Christian College. This was not a retreat but a growth opportunity in my life as a 23-year-old. I’ve now completed my first semester, and what an incredible journey it has been! This summer, I cherished spending time with you all at our main office. My first semester taught me so many exciting and new things, not just about running a business, but about life itself. I met people my age who are passionate about the Lord and determined to make a difference. I want to be there to help them every step of the way because God has blessed me, and I want to bless them.
This time was one of renewal and dedication. Back home this summer, we ensured that CoinHub flourished. We explored new selling platforms, broke our all-time sales record, published a new book, and created unforgettable summer evenings on whatnot. Each moment was a testament to our shared commitment and love for what we do.
After much prayer and reflection throughout the summer and my first semester at college, I am filled with gratitude and clarity about my path forward. I am thrilled to announce that I will continue my academic journey at Pensacola Christian College for the 2024 and 2025 academic years. The new semester begins on August 24th. In preparation for this commitment, I have taken steps to ensure CoinHub remains in capable hands. As you all know, we've hired Ben Hutton as our new Chief Marketing Officer. His energy and charisma have endeared him to all of you on whatnot, and I have complete confidence in his ability to uphold the high standards of quality and service you have come to expect from us.
While I will oversee CoinHub's strategic direction from college, Jonah, our Chief Operating Officer and my best friend, will manage day-to-day operations alongside Ben. Jonah did an outstanding job throughout my first semester, and I know he'll continue to excel.
Together, Ben and Jonah form a dynamic duo, poised to lead us into a promising future. Rest assured, I'm not going anywhere. You'll still see me during my trips back, especially for fun, big giveaway streams, and I will continue managing the company from afar.
I am excited about what lies ahead and am filled with gratitude to God for His guidance and blessings. I thank each one of you for turning a boy's dream into reality and building this extraordinary community of coin collectors that we know as CoinHub.
